This exhibition featured work from advanced photography students who made a body work in response to a piece from the Memorial Union Gallery permanent collection.
This November one of my images will be featured in a public, outdoor exhibition of photography planned in connection with the C40 Mayor’s Summit in Mexico City. Curated by the Lucie Foundation, this exhibition builds upon a show curated for the 2015 United Nations climate change conference in Paris. Co-Curators Cat Jimenez and Teal Thomsen write that “The collective imagery aims to awe and inspire, to challenge and confront the viewer, and to provide more understanding and awareness about our environment and how it continues to evolve with our actions and choices.”
The exhibition is on view between November 30, 2016 and January 11, 2017. For more information, please see: http://www.luciefoundation.org/programs/c40-mayors-summit-mexico-city/
